About Us

The primary goal of the Southern Humboldt Business and Visitors Bureau is to accelerate sustainable economic growth through tourism management and destination development inclusive of the Cannabis industry. To provide business leadership and effective coordination. The Bureau is primarily a community organization with the goal of developing,  promoting, and maintaining a healthy business and visitor industry in the Southern Humboldt area.  The SHBVB will embrace all changes of the Southern Humboldt Business evolution without separation of the business kind. Striving to work in a cohesive manner with like-minded community organizations.

In addition to our mission, your general member benefits include and support direct daily, weekly/MONTHY collaboration/communications with industry partners such as but not limited to Cal travel, the City of Eureka, the City of Arcata, Small Business Development Council, Humboldt Made, Wine Industry Network, Sensi Magazine, Humboldt Cannabis Magazine, Humboldt Lodging Alliance, Humboldt Visitors Bureau, County of Humboldt, Rotary International, CalTravel Cannabis Tourism, CERC, local chambers and more.
