Ferndale Cemetery Association
The cemetery is located on Ocean Ave, two-blocks East of Main Street. Enter the acclaimed hillside Historic Section behind the Old Steeple. Continue on Ocean Ave. (becomes Bluff Street) a few hundred feet to enter the Valley View Section, which provides a pastoral view of eastern Eel River Valley farmlands and a forest view into the bordering redwood forest of Russ Park.
The Ferndale Cemetery Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization responsible for maintaining the cemetery.

Established in 1868, the Ferndale Cemetery is one of California’s most beautiful and historic burial sites, sweeping up a rhododendron-covered hillside to a crest overlooking the Eel River Valley and westward to the Pacific Ocean.
