Matt Wilson's Christmas Tree-O (9 pm show)

First-call drummer and jazz's "ambassador of good feeling” (New York Times) Matt Wilson takes on the holiday repertoire, from the Chipmunk Song to the Hallelujah Chorus, in a spirit that’s both daffy and dead-earnest--and utterly joyous. With Jeff Lederer, reeds, and Paul Sikivie, bass. At the newly renovated and reopened Basement, below decks at the Jacoby Storehouse (enter on H Street or through the parking lot on 7th Street).

Tickets are $20 General Admission and $15 Student/Senior. Doors open at approximately 8:30 p.m. (after the early set has finished). Seating on the main floor and mezzanine on a first-come basis.
