About This Event
Explore Ferndale's Main Street Historic District with a knowledgeable local historian. Your guide designed this easy walking tour to provide you with close-up views of well-preserved Victorian storefronts and homes in the heart of Ferndale. The tour stops will illustrate a variety of common Victorian styles, including ornate Queen Anne, decoratively symmetric Italianate and grandly arched Gothic Revival buildings. The accompanying stories of early immigrants and local dairy farms will provide you with insight about the influence of the past on today’s community and culture.
